Trade Tribunal ("the app," "we," "us") is a day-trading decision tool.
This page explains what information we collect, why, and what we do
with it — in plain language, not legal boilerplate.
What we collect
If you use the Free tier without creating an account:
we don't collect any personal information. Your watchlist, settings, and
trade log stay only in your browser's local storage on your own device
and are never sent to us.
If you create a Starter, Pro, or Shark account:
- Email address and password — used to log you in.
Passwords are handled by our authentication provider (Supabase) and are
never stored or seen by us in plain text.
- Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe.
We never receive or store your card number.
- Your watchlist and trade track record (Pro tier
only) — synced to your account so it's available if you log in on a
different device. On Starter and Shark this data stays local to your
browser only.
- App preferences — things like your chosen time
zone or preferred link-out site (e.g. Yahoo Finance vs TradingView),
stored locally on your device.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your data.
- We don't run ads or ad-tracking of any kind.
- We don't use analytics or tracking pixels in the app.
Services we rely on
To do its job, the app sends limited data to these third parties:
- Supabase — stores your account and, for Pro,
your synced watchlist/track record.
- Stripe — processes subscription payments.
- Finnhub, Alpaca, and SEC EDGAR — provide market
quotes, news, and filings. We send them the ticker symbols you look up,
not any personal or account information.
- Anthropic — powers the pattern-analysis behind
each verdict. Ticker symbols and the market context you enter are sent
to generate that analysis.
Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how they
handle data on their end.
How long we keep data
Account data is kept as long as your account is active. To delete your
account and associated data, contact us using the email below.
Who this app is for
Trade Tribunal is a trading tool and is not directed at, or intended
for use by, anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this
page.
